Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Supervisor/Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and trends.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, national, and international safety regulations.
Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to promote safety compliance.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of safety-related activities.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor/Safety Officer, preferably in the energy or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
Relevant certification or training in occupational health and safety, such as NEBOSH or OSHA.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
